Republic Polytechnic is the only polytechnic that has a Gamelan Ensemble. We gain exposure through school activities, e.g. Open House, SLA fiesta and etc. We also perform for external events, the recent Singapore Arts Festival!

Started in 2007, Gamelan Naga Kencana is under the tutelage of Amran Sowyan, a pioneer member of Gamelan Asmaradana. Gamelan Naga Kencana has been traditionally grommed and has turned into a forte for this young Gamelan Ensemble. From here, we are looking ahead to bringing our music to a different level.

Every year, TRCC holds an arts festival called "Reflections" and we, GNK, have been fortunate to be able to stage our own performance each year during Reflections. Therefore, this website would be updated with all the latest news on our Reflections performances.
